The HOKA Challenger 8 GORE-TEX® trail running shoe is a versatile shoe designed for smooth movement on both asphalt and trails. It is a good fit for those who don’t want to choose separate running shoes for the street and the trail – the Challenger 8 GTX can handle both.

The waterproof GORE-TEX® Invisible Fit membrane helps keep your feet dry even in rain, mud and wet weather. The technical mesh upper made from 100% recycled rPET helps keep the shoe light and breathable, while the 3D-printed toe cap offers extra protection against wear and impacts.

The updated model has more midsole material than before, which increases comfort over longer distances. The EVA midsole provides balanced cushioning and good responsiveness to keep your stride comfortable on both harder surfaces and softer trails.

The multidirectional 4 mm lugs have been redesigned to provide more secure grip on different surfaces. This lets you move smoothly from asphalt to gravel, forest trails and other varied terrain.

The updated last gives the shoe a better fit, especially around the forefoot and midfoot. The higher drop helps make your stride smooth and makes the Challenger 8 GTX a comfortable choice for both running and longer walks.

Reflective details improve visibility in low-light conditions, and the heel pull loop makes putting the shoe on more convenient.
