Wax Start XT 4 powder -1 -7 30g

START HF XT series powders, blocks and liquids are high-fluoro top coat waxes for both racers and strong recreational skiers. They provide the best glide and maximum speed. They are mostly used as a top layer over fluoro paraffins. Suitable for use when air humidity is above 55%.

Instructions for use

Before using the powders, prepare the glide zones of the skis with fluor paraffins. Sprinkle the powder on both sides of the ski groove so that the powder covers the entire glide zone. Powders are fixed with a very hot waxing iron, so incorrect handling may damage your health and the skis (you will find the correct temperature in the product’s instructions for use). Clean the waxing iron of other wax residues and place it gently on the powder. Slide the iron along the powder-covered surface. Do not move the iron back and forth or leave it standing in one place on the ski. Let the skis cool down properly. Scrape the excess powder off the ski base. Brush the structure of the ski base clean with a copper or steel brush, continue with a stiff nylon brush and finally polish the surface with a soft powder brush. Remove loose wax residues with a soft cloth or paper. NB! When waxing skis with powders, ensure sufficient ventilation and use a respirator if necessary. Fluor fumes are very toxic.
