LF 03 block
– Medium fluor content block that is suitable as a top coat for fluor paraffins for recreational skiers
– Also suitable for ski jumpers – in cold weather conditions, icy track
– For temperatures +1…-10
– Air humidity: >55%
– Weight: 20 g
Instructions for use
Before using blocks, prepare the glide zones of the skis with fluor paraffins. Rub the block over the entire glide zone. Blocks are fixed with a natural cork, a roto cork or through fibre cloth with a very hot waxing iron, so incorrect handling may harm your health and the skis (you can find the correct temperature in the product’s instructions for use).
Fixing with a waxing iron
Clean the waxing iron of other wax residue, cover the rubbed-on block with fibre cloth and glide the iron along the ski base covered with fibre cloth. Do not leave the waxing iron standing in one place on the ski. Let the skis cool down properly. Scrape the excess wax off the ski base. Brush the ski base structure clean with a copper or steel brush, continue with a stiff nylon brush and finally polish the surface with a soft powder brush. Remove loose wax residue with a soft cloth or paper. NB! When waxing skis with a block, ensure sufficient ventilation and use a respirator if necessary. Fluor fumes are very toxic.
Fixing with a cork
Rub the block onto the ski base in an even layer. Take a natural cork and rub the ski base firmly until the wax has been rubbed out over the ski base in an even layer. Brush the fixed wax with a soft powder brush.
