Wax Start klister MFW red +1…-5

18.90€

Wet or icy snow almost always requires klister-based grip waxing, as hard tin waxes are not soft and tacky enough to achieve the necessary grip. The Start collection has a very good selection of klisters suitable for different conditions.

START MFW series klisters are high fluor and molybdenum content grip waxes for both racers and recreational skiers. MFW series klisters are for mixing with other klisters or for use as a top coat over other klisters. MFW series klisters have good glide properties and reduce the wear of grip waxes. Suitable for wet, coarse-grained, dirty snow and icy artificial snow, for use when air humidity is above 55%.

Klister MFW red

– Suitable for mixing and as a top coat for other klisters

Instructions for use

Apply base klister to the ski base in a very thin layer. To get the klister out of the tube, warm the tube. Smooth  the base klister layer with a warm waxing iron so that the klister evenly covers the entire grip zone. Smooth with your thumb or a synthetic cork and let the ski cool.
Apply the klister suited to the temperature drop by drop to the grip zone so that the klister drops form a regular row about 5 cm apart on both sides of the ski base groove. Spread the klister with your thumb or a cork to create an even layer. Clean excess klister from the ski base groove and the sides of the ski.
When mixing klisters, drip the different klisters onto the ski base and rub them out with your thumb, mixing the klisters together.
When covering a klister with another klister, let the bottom layer cool down properly. Drip the top klister onto the smoothed bottom layer. Rub it out with your thumb and smooth with a synthetic cork.
Let the skis cool down properly before skiing.
