Wax Start grip Base Wax

Start Basewax and Start Basewax Extra are base waxes (binder waxes) used as a base layer for grip wax. They are used to reduce the wear of the grip wax.

Start Basewax

Instructions for use

Clean old wax from the grip zone. If the skis are used only for classic technique skiing, the grip zone of the ski base could be roughened with sandpaper (this way the grip wax stays better on the ski base and is more wear-resistant). Next, rub the base wax in a thin layer onto the grip zone of the ski base, spread it with a waxing iron and finish smooth with a synthetic cork. Let the skis cool down completely before using grip wax.
