Peltonen SkinPro skin classic skis

SkinPro skin classic skis are an excellent choice as a training ski for the active recreational skier and even for racers. The Aircell Aviflex honeycomb core ensures the lightness of the ski and the PRG4100 base excellent glide. The high-quality mohair skin in the grip zone provides good grip in all snow conditions. These are skis for the advanced recreational skier, with longer hair and a longer grip zone. In principle, you can also race on these skis.

The new MOVE NIS system, factory-fitted to the skis, allows you (with suitable bindings) to move the ski bindings forwards and backwards on the ski while skiing at the push of a button, to find the right grip according to snow conditions, body weight and skiing technique.

The skis should be 15-20 cm longer than the skier. Once you have found the right ski length, choose the stiffness that matches your weight from the weight chart in the image gallery.

ADVANTAGES

• Suitable for any snow and temperature
• No grip waxing needed
• Lasts over 1000 km (after which the skin can be replaced)

DISADVANTAGES

• For the ski to glide as well as possible, the ski’s camber must exactly match the skier’s weight

CARE

• The hair needs to be cleaned so that dirt comes out from between the hairs. The Start ski care range includes a special liquid for this.
• At 0-degree temperatures, the hair should be wiped over with the same liquid to prevent icing
