Alpina EO 2.0 protective covers (boot protectors) are designed primarily to protect carbon boot soles. All 2.0 and 3.0 racing class ski boots have carbon soles, and it is not recommended to walk on hard surfaces (asphalt, concrete, ice) in these boots without covers. Be sure to use boot covers when you finish skiing or head to the ski track.
