High-quality stainless steel Nordic skates Zandstra NIS for skating on natural ice. The strong, streamlined triangular aluminium profile and high blade ensure good control and stability even on snow cover and bumps.

The NIS system integrated into the skates makes it very easy to fit NIS-type NNN skating ski bindings: Rottefella Performance / Xcelerator 2.0 / Xcelerator Pro

NB! We recommend using them with skating, combi or backcountry ski boots with ankle support and a stiffer sole. These support the feet and make skating easier and safer. Unlike regular skates, with ski boots the heel stays free, which makes movement more natural and comfortable.

For sporty skating, choose a shorter blade and mount the binding as far forward as possible (smooth ice). For a more upright skating position and rough ice, it is worth using a longer blade and mounting the binding further back. A longer blade adds stability in poor ice conditions, but a blade that is too long relative to the boot/skater is harder to handle.

Plastic blade guards are included in the package. To prevent rust, dry the skate blades after use and before fitting the guards.
