Men’s trail running shoe ICEBUG Järv RB9X – Pesto/Lavender

Järv RB9X is a men’s trail running shoe with an aggressive tread pattern for covering long distances and tough terrain. JÄRV RB9X running shoes are durable and technologically well thought out – they were made in close collaboration with the trail running community and designed based on their experience. With the aggressive pattern of the RB9X sole, the shoe offers excellent grip on surfaces that do not require studs. The midsole, made from 66% Susterra – a bio-based material derived from corn – provides ample cushioning and energy return without losing stability. The upper is made from a flexible yet very durable material and fits like a glove, leaving enough room for the toes. Järv RB9X is designed both for ultrarunning veterans and for those just discovering the magic of trails – and for everyone in between.

By producing this running shoe, Icebug achieved an important goal for itself: reducing the environmental impact of production by using less than 50% virgin oils as raw material. As far as is known, this achievement currently has no equal in the entire world of running shoe production.

• RB9X™ stud-free rubber outsole ensures a secure grip on any terrain.
• The outsole material consists of 22% natural rubber and 15% recycled rubber.
• Light weight and minimal moisture retention make running comfortable and smooth.
• Fully cushioned midsole containing 66% corn-based Susterra® biomaterial.
• Maximum comfort thanks to the foot-shaped last and the roomy toe box.
• The upper is made of 50% recycled, GRS-certified RePET polyester.
• The lining is made of 100% recycled Ocean RePET polyester, which is bluesign®-certified, solution-dyed and OBP-certified.
• Ocean Bound Plastic – plastic waste collected from nature before it reaches the ocean, to reduce environmental pollution.
