Lightweight and waterproof winter studded running shoes ARCUS 2 BUGrip® GTX for longer runs. Arcus literally translates as a cloud formation, and that is exactly how these running shoes feel on your feet – incredibly light and soft. The winter ARCUS 2 BUGrip® GTX running shoes are designed to withstand harsh weather, using a waterproof GORE-TEX® Invisible membrane integrated into the upper. This solution makes the material softer and more comfortable while ensuring excellent breathability and waterproofness.

The shoes offer exceptional cushioning, making them suitable for longer use or recovery runs. The new nitrogen-infused SuperC midsole improves the smoothness of your stride and reduces pressure on different parts of the foot.

Reliable grip on all kinds of winter surfaces is ensured by the BUGrip® outsole with 13 dynamic studs. These features make the shoes suitable both for shorter everyday training sessions and for longer running adventures in the cold season.

Icebug winter footwear uses dynamic studs with patented BUGrip technology. BUGrip is Icebug’s technology for ensuring the best grip in the harshest and most slippery conditions. The BUGrip sole has been developed for winter trails and is made of a special rubber compound into which (depending on the model) 14-19 carbide studs are integrated. It is precisely the interaction of the individuality and design of the studs and the rubber compound of the sole that results in studs that move slightly in their sockets (rather than being rigidly fixed). The dynamic stud sinks more easily into its socket under the counter-pressure of a very hard surface (for example asphalt), so as not to get in the way where the presence of the stud is not essential. At the same time, it provides support on the next step on a surface with less resistance underfoot, i.e. a softer surface (ice, snow). This is how the best possible grip is ensured on every surface, from dry asphalt to mirror-smooth ice.

NB! BUGrip® studded footwear is not recommended for indoor use – the studs can damage the floor surface! For short stays indoors, we recommend using the Icebug Overshoe stud cover to protect the floor.
