Technology
What happens when you combine the largest Cloud elements (the so-called clouds) with a Speedboard® plate? The result is a very soft landing and an incredibly explosive toe-off. All On shoes have one thing in common, and that is the patented Cloudtec sole. This system consists of so-called clouds that compress on impact, reducing the impact force and ensuring a soft landing. To regain their original shape, they use the absorbed energy for a so-called dynamic rebound.
Materials
Lightweight, durable and, thanks to the Helion superfoam midsole, it does not matter what the temperature is outside – the shoe stays soft even at sub-zero temperatures. The upper of the shoe is made from a light and breathable mesh. The tongue is thin and fairly wide, wrapping nicely around the whole foot and holding it in place – the shoe is instantly very comfortable and nothing feels superfluous. The Speedboard plate hidden inside the midsole adds stability and explosiveness. The curved „rocker“ sole makes the shoe very smooth.
Design
ON claims that these are the strangest running shoes they have made in their twelve years. The Cloudmonster is a comfortable and versatile running shoe, suitable for long training sessions, recovery sessions or everyday shorter runs, on tarmac and light gravel roads.
