The lightweight Cloudrock 2 Waterproof hiking shoes come fully equipped with a wind- and waterproof upper, a Missiongrip™ rubber outsole, a rubber mudguard and a Speedboard® plate that provides excellent stability and endless forward propulsion.
Technology
The new forefoot tread pattern and the improved Missiongrip™ rubber outsole ensure first-class grip in dry and wet conditions, so you can keep your eyes on the horizon and your feet firmly on the ground. In addition, the new hiking-specific fit and the curved forefoot (“toe-rocker”) offer responsive precision with every step. The FlexLock system allows the laces to be tied traditionally or with a single pull. 360-degree wraparound rubber mudguards and a Speedboard® plate that provides propulsion and stability. The Zero-Gravity CloudTec® sole ensures soft landings.
Materials
The durable membrane is wind- and waterproof. When hiking through wet forest trails or in the rain, the waterproof membrane made from 20% recycled materials keeps your feet dry. The TPU toe cap, heel stabiliser and improved ankle section keep your feet secure and protected on uneven ground. The softly padded mid-height collar and tongue are designed to be flexible and not restrict movement, while protecting the ankles as they stay firmly on the foot. The rubber mudguard is durable yet light and elastic – the ideal mix of speed and protection.
Design
A hiking boot designed to provide good grip, pace and protection even in the most challenging conditions. Thanks to the Flexlock lacing system, you don’t have to risk your laces getting caught on the other boot. The new closed midsole channel under the foot keeps weight to a minimum and ensures you don’t take the trail home with you.
