Help with putting together a kids’ ski set:

We recommend choosing ski boots one size larger than your regular shoes. For a child you can safely leave some room to grow and choose 2 sizes larger.

The skis included in the set are classic skis with a fishscale pattern in the middle of the base to reduce the ski slipping backwards.

As a rule, classic technique skis should be chosen 15-20 cm longer than yourself, but for a smaller child who is just starting to ski, skis the same length as their height are best. Longer skis are more difficult to manoeuvre and may put the child off skiing altogether.

You can read more about choosing skis here.

Formula for finding the right pole length:
For classic technique: skier’s height x 0.85

Quick waxes are suitable for waxing these skis. You can choose a suitable glide wax here.

Don’t forget the ski straps either.
