ADVANTAGES

DISADVANTAGES

• For the ski to glide as well as possible, the ski’s camber must exactly match the skier’s weight

CARE

• The hair needs to be cleaned so that dirt comes out from between the hairs. The Start ski care range includes a special liquid for this.
• At 0-degree temperatures, the hair should be wiped over with the same liquid to prevent icing.

Classic skis should be 15-20 cm longer than the skier.

As a first guide, you can use the following lengths/stiffnesses:

180cm: SOFT 50-60 kg ; MEDIUM 60-70 kg ; STIFF 70-80 kg

190cm: SOFT 60-70 kg ; MEDIUM 70-80 kg ; STIFF 80-90 kg

200cm: SOFT 70-80 kg; MEDIUM 80-90 kg ; STIFF 90-110 kg
