Proper brushing ensures excellent glide.

BRASS BRUSH

– For cleaning the ski base structure

Instructions for use

After removing the excess wax with a scraper, push the metal brush from tip to tail until the ski base structure is clearly visible. Next, brush the ski base clean with a nylon brush.
If you have the option/wish to use different brushes, the principle is to start with the coarser brush. A brass brush is used first, followed by a copper brush, then a steel brush, then a stiff nylon brush, then a softer nylon brush  and, if powder is used in the waxing, finally a short-bristled soft nylon brush.
Use metal brushes for brushing in one direction only (mark an arrow on the brush so that you always use it in the same direction).

For a recreational skier, a brass brush and a stiff nylon brush are enough to get a satisfactory result.
