Clean drinking water is essential whatever the activity, but it does not provide energy or sufficient minerals. That is why the primary task of a sports drink is to replenish the fluid reserves lost during activity, while also restoring the energy reserves that are depleted as you move.<\/p>\n<p>A sports drink with optimal absorption has a concentration of 4-8%, i.e. 40-80 g of powder per 1 litre of water.
